Angel Gurría framkvæmdastjóri Efnahags- og framfarastofnunarinnar (OECD)
Secretary-General of the OECD since June 2006, Angel Gurría has reinforced the OECD's role as a ‘hub' for global dialogue and debate on economic policy. Mr. Gurría came to the OECD following a distinguished public service career in his native Mexico, notably as Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Finance and Public Credit in the 1990s. Mr. Gurría holds a B.A. in Economics from UNAM (Mexico) and an M.A. in Economics from Leeds University (UK). He is married with three children.
